James Chen
Director and Co-Founder, Adaptive EyewearJames Chen is Director and Co-Founder of Adaptive Eyewear. Adaptive Eyewear reflects James's lifelong interest in developing world philanthropy and social enterprise. James is Chairman of family-owned manufacturing enterprise Wahum Group Holdings, based in Hong Kong and Lagos, Nigeria.
In 2003, James helped to found his family's philanthropic foundation named after his late father, Chen Yet-Sen. His personal philanthropic interests include founding the Hong Kong Chapter of Bring Me a Book, an NGO promoting early childhood literacy. James is a long standing member of the Outward Bound Trust of Hong Kong and Chairman of the China Exploration and Research Society. A past President of the Hong Kong Chapter of Young Entrepreneurs Organization, he is currently a member of Young Presidents Organization, Hong Kong Chapter.
